Who owns this app

Job Coach Pro by MyKey is developed and owned by MyKey Consulting Services LLC, based in Bothell, Washington. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean MyKey Consulting Services LLC. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the app is, and is not

The app is an educational support tool. It offers a job skills checklist, a workday routine, a way to break a work task into steps, and a journal for work wins, to help a person build skills and confidence at work.

It is not job coaching or employment services. It does not find jobs, place anyone in a job, or check on anyone at work.
It does not replace a job coach, an employer, a vocational rehabilitation (DVR) counselor, or an IPE or IEP team.
The checklists, routine steps and ideas are general guidance. Always follow your workplace's rules, your supervisor's directions and your safety training.
It supplements, and does not replace, an IEP, a 504 plan, a transition plan, an employment plan, or guidance from a teacher, job coach or other qualified professional.
We do not promise that using the app will lead to any particular result, such as getting or keeping a job.

The front page and MyKey Steps

The main address of this app shows a short note that the full Job Coach Pro app is now part of MyKey Steps, with a link to it. MyKey Steps is a separate app with its own terms, and those terms apply when you use it.

Not for emergencies

Do not use the app to get help in an emergency. If someone is in danger, call 911.

Free to use

The app is free. Nothing is sold inside it, and no account is needed.

Your work

What you type is yours and stays on your device. We do not have a copy and cannot bring it back if it is erased or your device is lost. Keep your own copy of anything important.

Using the app the right way

You agree that you will not use the app to break the law, and that you will not try to break, overload, copy or take apart the app.

Our work

The app belongs to MyKey Consulting Services LLC. This includes its design, text, checklists, routine steps, ideas, artwork, and the MyKey name. You may use them for your own personal, family or educational use. Please do not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something in the app copies your work, email hello@mykeyplans.com with your name and contact details, the work you believe was copied, where it appears, and a statement that you are the owner or act for the owner. We will look into it promptly and remove content where that is right.

Accessibility

We want this app to work for everyone. Our Accessibility page explains what we do and how to tell us about a barrier.

The service as it is

We provide the app "as is" and "as available", without promises that it is complete, correct, current, or always available.

To the fullest extent the law allows, MyKey Consulting Services LLC is not responsible for decisions or actions taken at work using the app, lost work, or indirect or incidental losses that come from using the app. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to $100. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you agree to the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
